Childhood Memories

All of us have memories, both bright and dim,
That shapes our personality, both on a whim.
Our past and present experiences stored,
Guiding our lives and helping us move forward.

Looking back on our childhood days,
Memories return which are filled with joys,
What we expected the world to be,
A fairy tale in which it was free.

Each day we played different games,
Football, cricket etc. but winning wasn’t our aim.
Whosoever wins, the game went on well,
And that is the earth that I want to dwell.

Mother preparing delightful snacks,
Waiting for our return from school with backpacks.
A place that we went to learn, to laugh and play,
With a few squabbles, but all bright days.

Yearn for school bell to ring, a rush to be free,
Smiles and joy as far as we could see.
We never knew religion nor racism,
All were one with a similar notion and with uniform.

As we grew up, we come to find,
Our childhood’s magic, lovingly entwined.
Parents’ sacrifices, their love so grand,
Made our happiness a guiding hand.

A joyful childhood builds a happy soul,
While a troubled past can take its toll.
A loving family, siblings close by,
Made our after-school moments soar high.

Love and Order

In the court of love, I stand as a convict, yet to prove,
Is falling in love illegal? My heart’s plea, I move.
Let it be known, if it’s a crime,
In the court of hearts, I am guilty this time.

The prosecution of my heart, charged with loving you,
Your love is the verdict overdue.
In this trial, I confess my guilt, without hesitation,
Loving you is my honest declaration.

With every beat of my heart, I await the verdict,
In the jury of souls, mine will be a convict.
Arrest me with your tender eyes,
Imprison me in your warm embrace.

My heartbeat and your thoughts are the evidence,
Your smile, the key witness.
Judge of emotions, presiding over my heart’s prayer,
Jury of souls, deciding my love’s order.

Prosecution of doubt, challenging my vow,
Parole of trust, seeking freedom now.
Acquittal of fears, in the light of love’s grace,
No longer a victim, but a champion of embrace.

In this courtroom of pain, let love be acquitted,
For in your arms, the truth is committed.
My heart now a victim of affection,
Yet also the saviour of our eternal connection.

Your counsel, whispers of devotion,
Guiding me through trials, with steadfast emotion.
Criminal heart, snatched by desire’s hold,
Imprisoned by passion, the final judgement unfolds.

You, A Seed

A seed called you
that I sowed in me,
Now the tallest tree,
outgrew to be.
The tree stands useless,
As it grew to be fruitless.
Yet the roots have
spread and connected,
To every part of my veins.
No rains nor thunders,
No quakes nor volcano's,
And all likes of disasters,
none can make it fall,
a wonder, forever stands tall…

Life's Lessons

In a world where masks are often worn,

And two faces hide the truth, until torn.

Respect often goes to the shining gold,

Not to the souls whose stories are not told.

The ones we love with hearts so close,

Are often the ones who cause the deepest blows.

When happiness fills the air with delight,

Sadness reveals, reminding us about our plight.

Life’s lessons come in two ways,

Patience in times when nothing stays,

And attitude when everything falls on our laps

Defines us in both abundance and in disaster clasp.

Comparison steals the joy from our face,

Focusing on our journey, we win the race.

Failure slaps us in public, a shame,

Success hugs us in private, nature’s game.

Time may not heal every wound we hold,

But teaches us to live with pain, both young and old,

Trust is valuable, woven with delicate thread,

Once broken, “sorry” doesn't give life to the dead.

In life’s journey, both bitter and sweet,

We embrace our path and let illusions retreat.

Truth is a mirror in a mask so sly,

Revealing wisdom as we look inside

Goodbye, My Love

True love means letting go,
A gentle dance, moving slow.
I let you fly and be free,
In letting go, My love stays with me.

Relationships grow when both are free,
Two hearts together, in harmony.
Forcing or pushing never works,
Love that’s true, no one can break.

True love accepts change that comes,
Welcoming the shifts life gives.
It takes courage to step aside,
To let you grow and not just pride.

Forgiveness mends wounds of the past,
Healing hearts so love can last.
Releasing pain and old regrets,
True love stays, never forgets.

Even if I fade away,
My heart remembers, come what may.
Beyond the body, beyond the space,
My love remains as a warm embrace.

Letting go, I hold you close,
In my soul, love still shows.
Not tied by chains or worldly things,
A bond that’s pure, with no strings.

I wish you joy, I wish you peace,
In letting go, my love won’t cease.
My feelings are mine to take care of,
A love that’s true, that’s pure, and above.

My love gave hope for a reason to stay,
In letting go, I set you free today.
Not to shake the boat we sailed,
But to see our hearts prevail.

So here I stand with open arms,
In letting go, I mean no harm.
True love isn’t a chain to bind,
But a freedom for both to find.

Overthinking!

Overthinking is your worst enemy
It does not take away our agony.
With self, do not start at war,
Life is too short, close that door.

It’s all in our head, flowing all at once,
Petty things will steal our happiness.
Time doesn't heal emotional pain,
Let go of unwanted thoughts, just vain.

If it's meant to be, it will, if it isn't,
Stressing won't make it different.
Anxiety is a thin stream of fear,
Don't let your mind bully you, dear.

Do not dwell in the past, focus on being happy,
Not to worry about the future, live life fully.
Life becomes the story you tell yourself,
Write as many, stock it in a bookshelf.

Others say what they are projecting,
Not to be a victim of needless suffering.
Do not let it to steal your peace,
Everyone is blessed; live with grace.

Flowers

There is so much of happiness in a flower,
If you are receptive, it will shower.
Thousands in colors, and still to explore,
Yet countless, nature has in store.

To please the gods, they hold the power,

Their beauty shines hour by hour.

Each morning they blossom, round the year,

Ordination to gods, we use them during prayer.

Nectar so sweet, a gift from mother nature,

Where hearts and minds meet, joy, they offer.

In names they are known, nature’s favor,

In every language, their grace is shown all over.

They melt stone hearts like butter,

Bringing warmth to the soul, a charmer.

Even the hardest hearts can't ignore,

The eternal blessing they have in store.

Like mothers, they're givers, gentle and pure,

Harm them not, of that be sure.

Even the bitter will come to adore,

The beauty of flowers, forevermore.

78th India Independence Day

Today we mark seventy-eight years gone by,
With pride and joy, we lift our heads high.
For many gave all, whose names we miss,
Yet their dreams live on in India’s bliss.

Remember the elders, honor their fight,
Their struggles for freedom day and night.
Love your land with a heart pure,
Like a child cherishes simple allure.

Salute to our flag, with colors bright,
It waves with honor, a glorious sight.
Freedom is a treasure, not just to boast,
Cherish all, from north to south and east to west.

Sing National Anthem with voices clear,
It binds us all Indian’s, far and near.
For years we were denied, our rights
Young and old, stood without fear, our patriots.

Now we live in dignity and in peace,
A legacy of sacrifice, written in our place.
Celebrate this day with hearts full and free,
For the freedom we hold was won for you and me.

A Friend

A rope that you tie it to your soul,
Remains until you reach the grave hole.
A person who makes your life whole,
Never tries to become a mole.

A relationship which is truer than the truth.
Finding the right one is harder but it will be worth..
The one who can walk with you to any depth,
In life’s all roads and to whichever length.

Having a true one is a blessing,
Who will be with you, life everlasting.
One who tells you all your flaws,
And be with you by breaking all laws.

A person who is your shoulder,
Even when you grow older.
When the world burdens you, a soldier,
True friends will remain in life like a holder.

When all the relationships sink,
The only one with you in life’s every blink.
Feels like two souls are interlinked,
And two brains which think alike.

For some it is a mask to pretend,
For benefits and troubles that you can attend.
These will put you down at the end,
Identify them, ensure to suspend.

Luckiest is the person with one true friend,
Who travels ups and downs till life’s end.
None can break or bend,
A relationship blessed by gods, a real bond.

Success!

For some its a crown on their head,
For some another jewel on their way ahead.
One after the other people always strive,
Once achieved there is nothing they grieve.

Achieved by a lot of sacrifices,
Friends, family and by paying a lot of prices.
In their prime, Instead of partying and enjoying,
They worked hard and made it their craving.

Brick by Brick they build an empire,
By learning from their peers in their career.
Once reached, they do not feel superior,
True ones, ensure to pull others higher.

The false ones always leave trials of sorrow,
Leaving down whose knowledge they borrowed.
Not caring for anyone, forgetting their trails,
And everything they achieved by multiple failures

It shouldn’t hit one’s head with its allure,
As people tend to forget who once cared,
Where they come from and who was with them,
It feels like it is the fault of this corporate system.

Be happy for others who achieve it,
Focus on yourself and mentally stay fit.
Work on self improvement and growth,
One fine day all will be of worth.

A Lone Wolf, I Am

In a world full of masks,
I stand prioritizing my life tasks.
Being alone is my strength,
I can go to any height and depth..

A Wiseman once said, a tall tree,
Is cut first, with experiences I agree.
Among all selfish flying people,
For fame and name, I want to be an eagle.

There are several people,
Calling themselves lion and tiger,
Among all the ones, I stand a lone wolf,
As no relationships can ever engulf.

I don’t need a shoulder to lean,
I can stand on my own and I mean.
The sun is lonely and so is the moon,
Sometimes being alone seems like a boon.

Stay strong in heart and mind,
All arrogance exists in the world, except being kind.
Animals care for other animals,
But not all humans are caring for other humans.

I am the best of me and for me,
As this is for bright life, a key,
Even if the whole world is not caring.
I stand a lone wolf, still daring.

Anger

Anger is a normal emotional reaction,
Might lead to regrettable action.
Usually resulting in negative outcomes,
So learn to control your impulses sometimes.

Keeping your anger at bay is a skill,
Inhale through nose, through mouth you exhale.
Tense and slowly relax your muscles,
Like solving some kind of puzzles.

Pour all your anger out by writing,
And then destroy it by burning.
Let your emotions out by expressing,
Yet, you won't gain anything, by harming.

Visualize your happiest moments,
With your loved ones, ignore the torments.
Give your whole energy on self, as it will calm,
To others and self, do not cause any harm.

Blaming others has never helped,
On yourself, be focused.
Practice phrases or words that helps you control,
Visualize a pleasant scene being real.

Do things which get you bursting out laughing,
Music has been quite cathartic.
For anger is like a venom within,
For which, silence is the best medicine.

If used wisely, it can be your weapon,
but do not use it on someone.
Helps us with challenging goals,
who doesn't understand this remains a fool.

It’s In Her Vibes

Don't think I fell for her beauty, She is not even close to the y. But for her beauty which is internal, I fell for something which was ...
