When People Care

When you know you are not a priority,

It is time to see your self worth with clarity.

Do not go after someone who makes you wait,

And do not allow others to decide your fate.

If you are always the one, who is behind,

Waiting for a sign or care, you are blind.

It is time to stop and think my friend,

That there are things that are meant to end.

Friends and family who care, always find a way,

They don’t give excuses and will never delay.

If they wanted to be near, they will show,

But if not, it is time to let them go.

Do not let your value fade away,

By waiting for the ones who stray.

As your time and heart are precious to waste,

So walking away with love & care is best.

People who really care will make us feel right,

And will not treat you like a burden nor a plight.

Remember, everyone deserves to shine,

Don't settle for less, walk away when you get a sign.
