कई बार लोग पास होते हैं,

फिर भी दिल उदास होता है।

हर रोज़ मिलें, हर बात करें,

फिर भी कुछ अधूरा सा लगे।

पर तू, दूर होकर भी पास लगती है,

हर ख़ामोशी में तेरी आवाज़ है।

ना छू पाऊं, ना देख पाऊं हर दिन,

फिर भी तू हर पल मेरे साथ चलती है।

तेरी हँसी मेरी दुनिया की रौशनी है,

तेरे ख्याल मेरी ज़िंदगी है।

रिश्ता ये बस शब्दों का नहीं,

ये तो रूह की बंदगी है।

ना वक़्त तोड़ पाया, ना दूरी मिटा पाई,

तेरी मेरी ये डोरी सबसे गहरी निभाई।

सच्चा रिश्ता नाम तेरा है,

जिसे दिल ने हर हाल में सच कहा है।

ना शब्दों की ज़रूरत होती,

ना मिलने की कोई मजबूरी।

सच्चा रिश्ता दिल से जुड़ता है,

वक़्त और दूरी से नहीं टूटता है।

Relationship Of Love

Often people seem near,

But hearts feel sad there.

Eyes may meet and words too we share,

But deep inside, we know, there is no care.

But you, even though you are far away,

Your voice in every silence, will stay.

I can't touch you nor I can't see you every day

Still you walk with me every moment.

Your smile is the light of my world,

Your thoughts give me life.

This relationship is not just of words,

This is the devotion of my soul.

Time couldn’t break it, nor could distance erase it,

This bond of ours has been the deepest.

Your relationship is the truth,

Which my heart has said is true in every situation.

There is no need for words,

No compulsion to meet.

A true relationship is connected to the heart,

It is not broken by time and distance.
