From my eyes she entered my thoughts,
Capturing my heart and my soul,
And lived on my love.
She never believed, as it happened too fast,
But she failed to see it was true.
Miles apart, days apart, years apart,
I still wait, and I will wait all my life.
I never wore a mask for her,
Nor pretended, I stayed real and imperfect.
Why did I meet her in this vast world,
When there were thousands around?.
If she was fire, I would choose to burn,
If she was water, I would choose to drown
For she lives in my thoughts forever,
As I gave her everything from my heart.
Everything is for her and because of her,
And all of her is precious to me,
I will gladly accept and bear them,
Even waiting, distance, time, and pain,
In waiting, I prove my patience,
In distance, I prove my dedication,
In time I trust; if it's meant to be, it'll be
And in pain I prove my love for her.
