2 Strangers

Two souls meet as strangers, so distant and apart,
Gradually they find a vibe, a beat and they start.
From being acquaintances, they soon become friends,
Sharing laughs and secrets, their bond never ends.

In each other’s company, life seems so bright,
Caring and sharing, their hearts take flight.
Stories and moments, both joyful and true,
Dine and wine together, their souls renew.

With time, they’re reduced to a contact on a phone,
A follower on social media, a place not their own.
Conversations turn sparse, memories start to fade,
Once besties, now strangers in a digital parade.

The warmth of their friendship, now lost in the stream,
Replaced by notifications and a fleeting dream.
In the labyrinth of connections, so easy to slip,
From cherished companions to a missed friendship’s grip.

So, cherish those moments when bonds are still tight,
Before they dissolve into the virtual night.
Real connections are precious, a true gift to hold,
The two soul's part as strangers in this world.
