Some truths are not what seems to be.
As everyone's perception is different,
As we all live in our minds event.
The five senses are put to test,
Through touch, sight, sound, smell, and taste.
We perceive our environment using these,
Which acts as a filter that allows us to exist.
Sometimes it works in our favour,
But again, truth it might devour.
Using our senses to become aware,
Objects, relationships, and events we care.
Perceptions are shaped by our prior experiences,
Perceiving situations differently than someone else's.
We don't all perceive things the same way,
It can work against and cannot mean what we say.
The process is essential to make sense,
Does not go smoothly always, another tense.
Not all that mind intercepts are true,
Pay attention, take action and add value.
