Love, An Art OR A Game

We open our hearts to those we hold dear,
The few who paint love’s magic to draw us near.
They’re skilled in emotions, playing their part,
Unaware, perhaps, that love is an art.

With charm and wit, they dance through the night,
Captivating minds, leading hearts out of sight.
We fill their lives with the love that we share,
Not knowing the emptiness hiding down there.

But beneath their smiles lies a hidden plan,
Their flirts concealing a deeper scam.
In their game, hearts become just a pawn,
Playing with feelings until dawn.

Yet we still give them space to come in,
Hoping they’ll change, wishing to win.
But love isn’t a game for those who deceive,
In the end, it’s only the heart that will grieve.

So let’s protect our hearts with care,
From those who pretend but don’t really care.
True love isn’t a game filled with pain,
But a beautiful bond, where trusts will remain.
