If your thoughts were bricks, I could have built the tallest building,
Reaching higher than the sky, strong in every storm, standing.
If your thoughts were raindrops, it would’ve formed an ocean by now,
A flood of happiness or sadness, I would not really know.
If your thoughts were like fire, the earth would have been burned away,
Turning all mountains to ashes, every single day.
If your thoughts were like winds, they would blow across the world,
A storm making the world move away from its orbit, to its end.
If your thoughts were rivers, they would carve deep valleys,
Shaping the world of my dreams, filled with you finally.
If your thoughts were seeds, they would grow into big trees,
Creating forests all over, bringing the world to its knees.
If your thoughts were chains, they would bind me in one place,
Locking my heart in silence, leaving no sign of grace.
As your thoughts are like storms, it can either build or break,
Leaving behind scars or healing, depending on the path I take.
