I wait for her sign;
And when it comes, I won't waste time.
The doors of my heart; wide open for her,
Forever unlocked, if she chooses to enter.
I thought pretending to hate her,
Might make the feeling fade; but it only fed the fire.
A fire ignited by the memories of her,
Leaving me to burn to ashes.
She waits for someone,
Who will never come.
While she ignores the one.
Who waits a lifetime
Even the flames of my love,
Couldn't melt her heart.
And when I cry for her,
Even my tears taste of her.
She is the flower from heaven,
Bloomed in my heart's garden.
And even after all these years,
She stays fresh within.
Still...
I wait for her sign.
But maybe the sign I need,
Is that it will never come.
