Treasures of Her Memories

I thought my heart belonged to her,
Than I realised my soul did too.
I never knew my heart had a remote,
And she was the one holding it.

I never believed in seperation,
Even though she is far away.
A body can dissolve, a name can fade,
But a souls bond cannot be apart.

She lit the fire of love,
In my heart and in my soul.
The fire burns true and enternal,
No wind, no storm can stop it.

I let her hurt at times,
So she would know she mattered.
Not everyone in my life,
Gets a chance to hurt and walk away.

When she walked through my heart,
She left her mark behind.
She might have moved on,
But left me treasures of precious memories.
