Women's day isn't celebrated,
Just because one is born a woman.
It is celebrated for what a woman brings to this world,
For every quiet contribution made for the greater good.
For the pain they endure simply for being,
For the strength they carry without complaint,
For the burdens they hold on their shoulders,
While still keeping the world around them steady.
Every woman, a mother, a daughter,
A sister, a partner, and a friend.
knowingly or unknowingly, gives so much to this world,
Happiness, calmness, love, care and sometimes chaos too.
They build homes out of patience and sacrifice,
Turning their life struggles into stepping stones.
They carry storms in their hearts,
While still becoming someone's sunshine.
To every woman who fights for her rights,
And to every woman who silently sacrifices them.
To their courage, kindness and their true spirit,
Celebrating their journeys, struggles and victories.
To the dreams they build, and break for others,
To the life they chase for, and pause for.
When a woman rises, a family rises,
When she is empowered, a society moves forward.
To the true strength, the grace,
And the fire within every woman.
