By staying in my memory, she gave me happiness,
and by staying away in reality, she gave me sadness.
By creating confusion within, she caused me fear,
and through the fear of losing her, she gave me anger.
By entering my life, she gave me a surprise,
and by walking away, she gave me anxiety.
By being with others, she gave me jealousy,
and by keeping me away, she made me lonely.
By capturing my heart, she gave me love,
and for loving her, she gave me hate.
By her presence, she gave me peace,
and in her absence, she gave grief.
By her love and care, she filled my heart,
and by her hate and anger, she emptied my soul.
By her touch, she made me feel warmth,
and by turning me down, she proved she was cold.
Her shadow still walks within my heart,
for she will never truly depart.
Some loves are never meant to stay,
they only come to shake my souls.
She was the reason my heart could feel
both heaven's light and hell, so deep.
For loving her was my only dream,
and losing her left my heart to weep.
