and left with a thousand questions.
If I had known my depression gave her happiness,
I would have lived in it as if it were heaven for me.
She is always my first and last
thought of every day.
Even when she is not around,
she has control over my every emotion.
Her silence gives me chaos,
ruins my whole day.
Her presence brings calm within,
and lifts my spirit.
No matter where she is,
or whom she is with,
as long as she is happy,
I can still survive with it.
She didn't just walk away,
but took a part of me,
the part I can no longer be,
for it wasn't just a connection.
I find peace in missing her every day,
than forcing her to belong.
She stays safe within my thoughts,
I don't have to advertise it.
