My Love Against All Love

My love competes with

every loves in her life,

the love of gods,

the love of parents,

the love of friends,

the love of family,

and the love of her future generation.

In a world where people

slowly forget the dead,

in months and years,

and move on with their lives,

my love stands still across lifetimes.

Family and friends

think of her when needed,

or when they need something.

But my love asks for nothing,

not even her presence.

Even the gods

have millions of people,

to love, protect and care for.

But I love her

with all the love in this world.

Even gods test humans with pain,

but my love remains through every pain.

And after all this,

She still is

"Grateful for His Love Every Day"

her God.
