I buried my words within the vault of silence,
as she passed on, unknowing of their prayer.
I chose fear instead of courage,
and lost her without a fight.
My silence spoke too late,
when she was already gone.
I waited for the right time,
and watched it walk past me.
My silence was not weakness,
it's because of my heartbreak in the past.
People say even silence speaks,
but not many hearts listen.
Now silence stays with me, heavy and painful,
where sadness quietly lives inside.
My heart still beats with hidden scars,
hoping she would understand my words one day.
So, I stopped waiting,
for the time to return what I lost.
Some feelings are meant to die unspoken,
and silence is the grave I chose to bury them all.
