She came into my world quietly,
Shook my soul, I lost completely.
All the burdens felt lighter,
Life painted with color I never saw before.
One fine day she will be gone,
Wondering what went wrong, all alone.
Often people who bring us happiness,
Leave when we are happiest, creating chaos.
Her laughter, her touch made my sky shine,
She stayed for a while, walked away, for me to whine.
She made my whole heart her home,
Left me with nothing but memories of a game.
Loved her deeply, only for her to slip away,
Like sand that slips through the hand, no way.
I believed it was for a reason,
Realised she came to teach me a lesson.
But the place that she created,
Is now empty and it is now haunted.
Love is beautiful and cruel too,
It fills empty hearts and void also, true.
When she left, my heart started aching,
Even when I try to move on, it’s still poking.
A part of my soul has prints of her foot,
Etched like a trademark, her symbol stays put.
