A hidden truth begins to occupy us too fast.
With open hearts, we allow few people in,
A deeper pain hides behind smiles, for us within.
They come to us for comfort and in disguise,
With soft words and sincere eyes.
We build our dreams on broken hopes,
But soon their charm breaks and fades.
The love we felt starts to decrease,
All the colors and light go off with no trace.
And in that silence, a thought we let grow,
A haunting pain filled with sorrow.
And in this life of give and take,
Always victims feel pain and we break.
For in search of a relationship’s comfort,
To fill the emptiness and to soothe our hurt.
We still reach out even when in pain,
With hope that falls like tears of rain.
But if we see through all their lies,
Would we still chase those floating ties?
In truth, the world is mixed and wide,
Filled with both joy and pain inside.
While some hearts may choose to hide,
The scars of relations cannot be denied.
So let us learn to handle with care,
To protect our hearts that we share.
For in the bad times our strength will grow,
And through this pain our spirits will flow.
In every tear a lesson awaits,
In every break our heart relates.
To love is brave but to know its cost,
For in our life’s quest, we risk & we get lost.
