Our parents battled each day for our meals.
They worked for our best education with grace,
But never warned us of the world’s true face.
All those who called you a friend,
Will one day vanish like dust in the wind.
All those who swore they will care,
Dead or alive, won’t even bother.
All those promises; just temporary words,
Nothing meant, and nothing is on records.
Same devils in suits, smiles, and disguises,
New masks they’ll wear, but with the same old lies..
People will show you dreams, in sweet words,
Use you as a ladder while your vision stays blurred.
People look up to others with fortunes,
By not knowing its path, and treasons.
They built us humans, not for war,
But in this world, only warriors can endure.
They never taught us how to see life clearer,
The demons we meet in life, we will not be aware.
