People and Weather

People and weather are much the same,

We never know why, when and how they change.

At times, they shine with warmth like sunshine,

then suddenly fall silent, like a dull, grey day.

Sometimes they turn cold, hard to bear,

And then, just as quickly, they're calm again.

What they don' t realise is; some people,

Can enjoy every kind of weather.

They will be ready whatever comes their way,

As they can carry an umbrella during rain.

Pull on a sweater when it's cold,

And wear light clothes in the summer sun.

So, let people be who they are;

Don't expect them to match your moods or feelings.

Accept them for who they are,

Not for what they are to you.
