The Cost of a Mother’s True Love

She will wait for your first word,
Even when it is to hurt her.
She will wait for you to take your first step,
Even if it is meant to push her.

She will clean you,
Even when you cannot tolerate your own stink.
She will love you more than herself,
Even when you don't care for her.

She will wait for you to eat with hunger,
Even when you have fed yourself.
She will be awake with sleepy eyes,
Even when you rest, free of worry.

She will pray for your well-being, even in sickness,
Even when you won't care for hers.
She will work hard for you,
Even when you will not work for yourself.

She will die for you to live,
Even when you don't value her when alive.
This is how a mother shows her true love,
Even if you don't deserve it.

Don't love your mothers when she is no more,
You have the world's time, spend it with her,
The only person who truly loves you.

The regret of not spending time with your parents,
It is the most painful regret of all,
This regret will haunt one’s peace.

A Regret of
