My Love's Creed

I believed in her heart,

A kingdom vast and mighty,

She created for me, heaven on earth.

I believed in her words,

It was sacred, and truth.

She came and conquered,

The holy chambers of my soul.

Was pacified and relied,

On cloud nine, I was carried.

Then she sent me to hell,

I couldn't rise again,

Even after my tears were shed.

She ascended into my soul,

And is seated as the queen

Of my heart, crowned with full rights.

She will not leave that throne,

Until this mortal body is dead.

I believed in her spirit,

That one it would march,

Into the heart that still awaits.

But loving her feels like a sin,

A wound without resurrection, bloody,

And it is a devastating pain, undone.
