Like morning coffee I cannot avoid.
If fate had never given that chance to meet,
Maybe my heart would've stayed quiet.
She was a strange and beautiful chemistry,
Something my mind cannot replace.
I fell into a repeating circle,
And was addicted to her smile and face.
Her presence filled my mind with joy,
Like dopamine increasing in my brain.
Oxytocin flowed like a river,
Turning simple moments into pleasureable rain.
Those feelings were powerful and rare,
My mind touched magical skies.
That rush of emotions made her unforgettable,
Now her memory lies quietly inside me.
Without her, my thoughts feel restless,
Anxiety and silence started to grow.
Her presence felt like pure oxygen,
Now her absence feels like suffocation.
Time moved on but her memories remained,
Like tied in a chain, my heart isn't free.
In this invisible trap of longing,
Her fading ghost still keeps me awake.
