I never once
pretended,
pretended,
whenever I stood in her presence.
Around her, I felt
like I was becoming better each day.
There was a strange feeling,
as though I had known her forever.
Within her heart, I found a paradise
and I chose to live there endlessly.
My blood cells moves like a flock of sheep,
while her thoughts became the shepherd.
My nervous system acts like metal strings,
while hers became like a magnet.
Science says after death,
The brain lives for thirty seconds.
Even in those final moments,
it would still carry memories of her;
that is how much I loved her.
My loyalty was never about staying,
It was about loving her endlessly.
The love I carried in her presence,
remained, even after she did not.
My love was like water,
I appear how she sees me.
Perhaps she saw only a gutter,
never noticing,
there was an ocean of love for her within.
