When She is Not in Sight

When I cannot see you, my dear,

a deep pain fills my heart.

Like waves that strike upon the rocks,

I fall apart like drops of water.

Your face is Like a full moon,

your eyes shine like bright stars,

Your hair tells a silent story,

And I stand breathless before you.

The glow upon your face is like the sun,

your warmth brings comfort to my soul.

Sometimes the warmth burns deeply,

but if it is love, I gladly accept.

In my dreams, your smile shines bright,

I reach for you in a gentle light.

Days may pass and nights may fade,

but your memory stays with me always.

Now I gather dreams of you,

your laughter and even your memories,

I face every storm in life,

and walk forward beyond fears.

For my true love stays through every season,

through pain, through distance, through time.

And a heart that truly belong together,

will always find its way.
