How I Would Love Her

Every inch of her body,
I would have celebrated.
like she was a divine gift,
the gods sent to earth for me.

Like fragrance is born to spread
and flowers are born to bloom,
she too was born to be worshipped
celebrated, and cherished.

She is not only flesh and skin,
she is emotion, memory, softness,
and sacred intelligence to be explored,
like treasures in the deep oceans.

I poured my attention into making her
feel seen, valued, and safe with me.
I wanted her essence to shine brightest,
to feel my genuine connection.

I wanted to heal the wounds,
the disappointments, and unspoken pain
she has carried her whole life,
to give her hope that I am with her.

I wanted her to experience my love in truth,
my warmth, and my surrender.
I honored her so she could glow,
and respected so she could blossom.

I wanted her to be herself
become radiant, powerful,
sensual, and deeply alive,
and to return to her essence.
