My Love Beyond Reality

I thought of a thousand ways to forget her,

and a thousand reasons to hate.

I spent days, weeks and years,

now I am lacking in both.

I wish I could be like Thanos,

just with a snap of my fingers,

I would make everyone disappear from earth,

except her and me.

We could start like Adam and Eve,

live for a thousand years.

And even through all those years,

I would still want to love her.

I wish I could own a clone machine,

so I could clone more of us,

spread them all over the world,

until the whole world became us.

I wish I could go to another universe,

and bring her back to this one,

but then I wonder what would happen

to the other me in that universe.

I wish I could reverse time

and ask God to put us together once again,

so we could grow equally,

and remain together.

I wish I could tell the universe

to plant me inside her thoughts,

so when we meet, she could recognise me,

and we could finally live together.
