Love is not in calling all the time,
not in showing off or big big signs,
It is in small care when life feels hard,
in silent ways one protects your heart.
On your worst days when you feel low,
the person should stay, never will let you go.
You can break and be yourself without fear,
they should pick your pieces, to keep you near.
Real love does not ask perfect face,
it gives your flaws a safe place,
When in mess and in pain, they should stay kind,
they should heal your heart and calm your mind.
When you’re in dark, they should show you light,
holds you softly through your fight,
Not only in words, but in things they do,
you should feel safe being with them.
Love is not only shown in romance,
it is standing strong in every chance,
In bad times too, they should never hide,
they need to hold you close, stay by your side.
Real love makes any soul feel home,
with them, you should not feel alone,
In this vast world, they should give you peace,
with them, your restless heart should feel at ease.
