Often, I convinced myself
that maybe she was just busy.
Maybe she was afraid.
Maybe, one day, she would choose me.
But the truth hit me hard.
When someone truly cares,
they find a way.
They make time.
They put in the effort.
They take the first step.
Not because it is always easy,
but because their heart
already knows what matters.
Never measure your worth
by someone's inability to choose you.
Sometimes, silence is the answer.
Sometimes, absence says everything.
The people who truly value your presence
will never need constant reminders
of your importance.
They make time for the people
they cannot afford to lose.
And when someone truly wants
to be part of your life,
you will not feel it through words alone,
but through their actions.
