In Her Thoughts I Drown

Thoughts of her come and go,
Like the soft, smooth oceans flow.
Wave by wave they touch my mind,
And to the world I turn blind

She was a charm when first I met,
Even beauty would admit defeat.
Her shine carries such sweet grace,
Even roses fade before her face.

All the wonders of this wide world,
Stand no chance, for she is bold.
My love flows restless from my heart,
Trying to reach hers, to be its part.

Her soul is gentle, pure and bright,
When she is near, my soul feels quiet.
In her eyes I saw my universe,
Not knowing if it's a blessing or a curse?

She felt quietly irresistible,
A feeling deep within, indescribable.
Her warmth still lives within my breath,
Her touch I will remember until my death.

Her memories became my prison,
For my death, distance was the reason.
Her spirit left a deep impression,
Missing her leads me to depression.
