People will paint an image of you
in their own minds,
without your consent.
But you know who you truly are,
so stop worrying about the colors they choose.
Every soul is the same,
but not every path.
Each is blessed differently,
with purpose, intelligence, wealth,
trails, and blessings alike.
So stop comparing your journey to theirs.
As you sow so, so shall you reap,
it is more than a proverb,
It is the quiet law of life.
Everything we have in this life
is temporary,
our body, our joys,
our struggles, and our victories.
Nothing is ours to own,
and nothing can be carried with us.
So stop focusing on worldly burdens.
We are only tenants in this life,
our deeds are the rent we pay.
When the lease comes to an end,
we leave with nothing but them.
So start counting your deeds
that decide your next journey.
